I have one of these beasts on loan. Lovely bit of kit but so heavy! Here's a couple shot with it on tmax400/R09 . The older man is a chap I met while out on a walk. He had a leicaflex and most genial he was too.
I'm rather taken with platic cameras - the simple type niot your plastic digitals. I havea Vivitar Ultra Wide that uses 35mm film and has not controls but does sport a great 22mm lens. There are a few shots on my Flickr page but a couple more here from ERA100 in R09. The second one of the cook has great slurs across it which i think adds to the effect!
in the not too distant future we, my partner Eve & I are hoping to move to the Isle of lewis where we have already bought a little house.. It's having evening like this that make it all worth while. Agfa Record 6x9 Provia . Valtos
I'm getting through the rolls of film we took while up on the Isle of lewis - where, I might add we have now bought a house :-) - and I am rather pleased with this little offering from the Agfa Record camera - Tmax 400 DDX. These are part of the Callanash stones there.
I've had a little problem with my lovely Minolta A5 rangefinder - nothing serious you understand, just that a whole roll of film revealed just one image. The shutter had stopped working ! Now, after repeated shutter firing attempts it seems to have righted it self. Anyway, here's an image from the roll before it all went horribly wrong. Chinese Era 100 film in R09. Dovestones.
Ultra Vivitar wide angle plastic camera thing came in useful. Loaded with some cheap 400asa film, the results aren't bad - apart from the bad print scans.
Yup, just got back from a week on the Isle of Lewis up there in the Western Isles where we were house hunting. Hopefully we have found the one ! Such a wonderful island and, the light was just brill. So, I may have a snap or two to show over the next few days. If you get chance, get over to the Western Isles and Uig area in particular. You will not be dissappointed. Here's a bridge in the area- Agfa Record/FP4/R09
