slowly

 slowly i feel the creakiness in my back that has been causing me agony is gradually subsiding. AT least I hope it is. The other day after a short ebike ride, my back felt great; not much pain and somewhat bendable too. It hasn't lasted sadly. Yesterdays attempt at another short ebike ride resulted in crippling pain this morning. As a result I still have no new snaps to show so, here's another from a previous September. a fank scene in the village.

 Still crook bur soldiering on.

I might even get down to this beach again soonish, once my back is playing ball etc.

There's a few old roads around the place like here alongside the new one that boy racers go up and ridiculous speeds.

Aye, we went out for a cuppa and cake and a stroll on a beach. I took  camera and captured this which I quite like. I may have another to show you too.

No I have not been snapping much. still a little under the weather so I scanned this neg from a camera with 20mm lens. Had to colourise it a tad to give a bit of omph.

Took this as the bikist went around a corner junction. It is I might add an old image.

Thinking of which it reminds me of the life and work of fashion photographer Bill Cunningham. There's a great film about him available somewhere and if you can track it down it's well worth a watch.

This was snap I took of Toots  - who unfortunately is a tad unwell at present - in An Lanntair bar some time back. Love the image which for some strange reason reminds of the John Betjemen poem The Arrest of Oscar Wilde at the Cadugan Hotel.

i read a short article the other day about the 'best' 10 beaches in the UK and the mentioned three in the islands here. What they didn't mention was the roads and parking spaces there are already clogged with campervans and the like due to previous undue publicity. Bring on the winter when it will be pretty well camper free.

On the other hand there is usually some peace to be had here at the old church at Rodal.
