Aye, we went down a coal mine.

I constantly banged my head, my back was sore and eventually the hard hat I was wearing fell off.

A great place to visit but I wouldn't want to go down again.

Hello again

 

Yes, I'm back although somewhat tarnished by the closing of the metaphorical light.

Been off the island and everything. Just to see in-laws you understand. A 50th wedding anniversary party needed to be attended. We took the opportunity to catch up with a couple of souls we hadn't seen for a very long time, saw a wonderful exhibition, was very disappointed at another gallery and got distressed at the traffic.

Now we are back home, I have developed a roll of film from the trusty Voigtlander Perkeo and here's one of the snaps from near Duntulm castle on Skye taken just prior to catching a ferry home -  and how wonderful it is to be back on the rock.
