Fanks for the memory

I've been out and about today [before settling down to a bit of light work later ] checking out the popular sheep gathering points hereabout. Its the start of a little project that will last the whole year - entitled "Fanks for the memory". Eh? The title is great but now the images have to follow. Here's the first few of many.

I too have noticed the stark contrast between the beauty of the surroundings and the rotting, patched together fanks! A bit like the rusting cars in back gardens (less now than there used to be) - but part of the charm of the place

When can we be expecting you over at North Lochs to photograph our fine "sheep complex"? Wish I'd thought of your project title. :D

Gosh, very taken with your pictures Andrea, especially the second of three, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is that's so appealing about the composition.
