We do have a wonderful bus service here. If you are not here on a bicycle, you can always get around on the buses. Mostly anyway. And there's often a nice place to await the arrival of said bus.
What with the weather here we do have some wonderfully robust concrete bus shelters that will still be there when humans have gone extinct.

I really do like your shelterscapes. This one looks a bit more flimsy than other's more brutalist architecture things I've seen in the past though. I hope it's not a "change for the better" thing going on out there?
On a second thought you will need some serious lifting gear to get rid of them.
