The village has been a tad damp recently. The crofter's croft is a mud bath, the peat tracks are fine frog-spawning places.
Spawned in a Peat Track would be a great album title for a folk group.
I think I might have heard it on John Peel.
Ahh, yes. Great nights to be a teenager. Single earphone, which was more like a hearing aid, plugged into the battery radio and reducing the music to even more of a white noise cacophony. No one did music like the late great Mr Peel.
