I used to stop on Shap when I went South. I usually came off the motorway and drove down the A6 (?) for that stretch. There was a hotel where I used to stop for lunch sometimes. Seems so long ago.......Ah. Yes. It IS so long ago.
Far more interesting than the motorway view
