Necessity as the mother of invention all started when Olga the Oil as she was known amongst artist friends grabbed the bag containing gardening equipment instead of art supplies on her way out of the door on a particularly painterly morn. She only realised her mistake once she had rambled o’er hill and moor to the spot she had in mind for the masterpiece that was to establish her position as an artist of renown. The rest is, as they say, art history.
