I think I'm hurt

Thanks everso Mr John for the book suggestions. Too expensive for my tastes sad to to say but thanks all the same for the ideas. Anyway, all the rest of you go and have a look at some proper photos here from Mr John.

I just thought I had a few more photographically enhanced visitors that might leave suggestions :-(.

Still, I raise you a gull.

Wishing you all a lovely Festive season - whatever your tastes. Here's to a fine 2015

I was going to include this on my list. It isn't the best print quality, (OK for £16), but the images and subject matter more than compensate.

Sadly, photo books are getting very expensive. I think that too many are just too big and over-designed. Then there is this one -

How does one differentiate between an "ordinary" photograph and a "Proper" one?

Just catching up on my Interwebs reading so here are a few of my favorites:

The Monograph - Edouard Boubat
Sundays by the River - Willy Ronis
The Poet of Prague - Josef Sudek
Home Photography - Andrew Sanderson
Last but not least pretty much any book by James Ravilious but I have a feeling you might already know his work.

Happy holidays from the colonies!
