Summer in the car park
It's not always as dark as this, not literally anway. It's been warm and sunny most of the time but I wait till the clouds come so I take some snaps.
The car-parks get busy round the village with these houses on wheels with their accompanying surf-boards and dogs. Nice really. Lovely peeps in the main too.
Anyway, I 'saw' them through a really small hole, 'painted' the image on film and everything. Here it is.

Pinhole
The pinhole boxes have not seen the light of fay recently and now the Worldwide pinhole photography day is looming, I might just have to dig them out. Might use the box-file camera or the converted folder, who knows?
And, if there's enough interest I might even organise a little pinhole gatheration on the island. That would be lovely. I am sure there are some ardent pinholists over here somewhere! Anyway, mark April 27th in your packed schedule as THAT IS THE DAY.
If you don't know how to proceed, make a contact with me and I'll sort you out - as it were! Or look at these resources.
And before you tell me, yes you have probably seen these images before. However, I like these print and they are pinhole images.

All without the matches
The Cragro Photographic Collective [me] can now present a new direction in my photographic journey to goodness knows where. Not even sure where it's coming from actually.
Since I was feeling a bit flush I lashed out and bought myself a new camera. Well, I bought the bits for one anyway. A matchbox. Plus a lot of gaffer tape I had around the place, and a little bit of tin-foil. I did some less than brilliant manufacturing like so and soon I had a matchbox pinhole camera - without the matches and with film loaded. How good is that??? Eat your heart out Leica lovers, Mamiya musers etc etc..............
I must admit I have not QUITE got the exposures right and there's a lovely little light leak but hey, it's early days yet. I shall be onto my first wedding shoot in no time :-)
Anyway, her's my first shots from this delicious little camera.
