In a cage.
I have spent some time consuming degrowth economics. I like it.
Here too
When Keith Akabilly [aka Mush] is not asleep he's hankering after a stroll. Not so keen when it's windy but doesnae mind the rain.
He loves to be beside the sea - although not too close in case the Blue Men of the Minch get him.
As you might imagine, photography has not been at the forefront of my mind lately. I did have a wee dabble at still life [again] but was less than excited at the result. So much so, I threw the negs.
Some years ago saw the sad passing of Lauren Simmonetti whose difficult life was written in images produced in the old analogue way at her home. Wonderful images. I wish I could be so creative.
The lovely Minolta A3 is back from being tickled back to life by Black on White in Bristol. The camera is from the year of my birth and like me had a mild ailment now thankfully rectified. Was so excited to have it home, I quickly loaded it with Kentmere 400@640 and took off doon the road here with Eve and Keith the cat to shoot as a test.
I must say, I am pleased to have it again.
Oooof, I love the walls round here. some of them are upright too. like this one cuddling it's grass within, just under the hillock yonder.
One of a very few images I liked from a roll of 120 film from the Bronnie. Must try harder
No idea since you ask. These were part of some flowers some lovelee gave us and this is the only thing that has survived, and since it was lashing and howling outside, I snapped it up.
I've been sorting through piles of negs recently, trying to find one that is interesting - as yet with little luck. But it's obvious I'm keeping film production going virtually single-handed.
I've been in the darkish dampish room again, shining a light through unsuspecting negs onto light sensitive paper, sloshing that in chemicals before throwing them in the bin. Back to normalish then.
I am looking forward to getting out and about a bit more soon - as soon as the weather eases a tad so my bike can have some much required daylight.
Until then .....
Apologies, I hadn't realised it was today already. It was only yesterday a few moments ago and now.......
This, whateveritis, is now upsetting my time clock. Time expands and contracts willy-nilly. I'm struggling to cope.
The car recently backed into a lamppost too. The post neither looked or signalled before it leapt out behind and the car hit it. I have to admit I was sitting in the driving seat at the time - although I can't say I was actually driving it. Properly anyway.
Now the flippin car backend has a big ding in it and it's going to be an arm and leg jobbie! Wonders never cease.
Happy Valentine eh?
Cyclist on the way home after a busy day.
It's great for cyclists up here - apart from the rain, the wind and the occasional idiot motorist :-(
And dressed like this when we were going to sail. When the weather was good. Warm even. Obvs :-)
We haven't got the old tub Freyja now having given her to someone who says he will have a better use for her. And sadly, we don't miss her either.
